Pork and Beef Co-Op

           Welcome to our *NEW* for 2015 Beef and Pork Co-op farm option!

 

  The new farm co-op option allows you as a customer to purchase Six Oaks Farm's pastured pork and grass-fed beef by paying a small deposit and small monthly payments. Payments take place over the course of 6 months beginning the month following your deposit being made. A final payment will be due when the pig or cow is delivered to the butcher in the amount of the difference of what was paid into the co-op and the final weight of the animal. Customer will pay butcher fees seperately.

  This is a great opportunity for a pastured meat buyer who would like to pay in small amounts leading up to picking up their pig at the butcher rather then paying the entire amount at the time the animal is delivered to the butcher.

 

  Here is an example of how the Pork Co-Op will work for you:

  • Make a (Non-Refundable)deposit of $100.00 to reserve your pig

  • Make 6 payments of $55.00 each month

  • Make a final payment of appoximately $50.00 for the final weight of the pig. (This will vary and may be slightly more or less depending on the final weight of the pig)

  • This payment schedule assumes the following; Live weigh of 250 lbs X $2.65 per lb = $675.00 - $100.00 Deposit - 6 monthly payments of $55.00 equaling $450.00 = $125.00 Remaining Balance +/-

 

  Here is an example of how the Beef Co-Op will work for you:

  • Make a (Non-Refundable)deposit of $200.00 to reserve your cow

  • Make 6  payments of $90.00 each month

  • Make a final payment of approximately $160.00 for the final weight of the cow. (This will vary and may be slightly more or less depending on the final weight of the cow)

  • This payment schedule assumes the following; Hanging carcass weight of 300 lbs X $3.65 per lb = $1095.00 - $200.00 Deposit - 6  monthly payments of $90.00 equaling $540.00 = $355.00 Remaining Balance +/-

 

NOTE: Butcher fees are not included in the Co-Op program and are to be paid seperately when you pick up your freezer meat. All cutting is done to customer's specifications. Deposits are NOT refundable due to the logistics of meeting individual customer demand and actual livestock numbers so reserve carefully, please.
